For each project, we generate a unique project schedule that
details
the flow of work for the
project and the
expected
payments based on
milestones in the project.
When you sign our agreement and pay the deposit, the schedule dates are
filled in, providing you with a solid start date.
The payment draws are also clearly outlined in the schedule and in
order to keep the project flowing we expect prompt payments based on
project milestones.
While we strive to stick to our schedules, it is also important to
understand that every
project that we do is completely custom and due to the nature of custom
projects, it is necessary to occasionally tweak the schedule.
If
the schedule needs to be adjusted we are sure to communicate that to
you.
Change orders are the biggest culprit in forcing schedule changes.
We rarely ever have a significant change order for unseen
problems. Instead, the most likely initiator of change orders
is
you, the customer. If you want us to stay on schedule, try to
avoid changing the plan once we have begun. We also realize
that
some things just can't be visualized, even with state-of-the-art
design, so if there really is something you want to change mid-course,
don't be afraid to let us know.
